It is not paint, but a heavy bodied coating system, and is guaranteed by Kryton to look freshly painted every day, for the next twenty five years. It retains the natural shape and texture of the material it is applied, and dries to about the thickness of a credit card.

What about about mold and moisture?

Stucco must breathe! That means that stucco needs to allow any water it absorbs to escape. This is called vapor permeability. When moisture is trapped in the stucco it begins to form molds and mildews. Not only is this ugly, it has also been linked to a number of medical conditions.

This problem can happen not only on the exterior of your home, but that trapped moisture can appear inside your home in the form of molds and mildew.

In order to breathe a coating (paint, Tex-Cote, or other exterior coating) needs to have a vapor permeability rating of 10 perms or higher. Liquid Stucco is 21.74 perms. The highest in the industry. Liquid Stucco allows your stucco to breathe, preventing most mold and mildew.

Liquid Stucco is also formulated with chemicals that retard the growth of mold and mildew.
